A Horse Drawn Carriage Service?
Horse drawn carriage isn't a specific use in the City, If someone brings in the horses and carriages and then they wait for passengers on the street, that would be up to the Dept. of Public Works, as it's not on zoned land. If someone wanted stables for the horses, we'd have to look at that. I don't believe that stables are permitted anywhere currently.

will MKT or SD2 zoning allow growing/processing/distribution of Marijuana
Marihuana uses are not currently proposed for MKT. Provisioning and safety compliance is conditional in SD2.
I have a question regarding cannabis. I plan on submitting a "legacy" recreational cannabis license when the city council approves the new ordinance. I heard sometime in April, I would submit my application. I am currently zoned M3 which is a zone that allows for the sale of cannabis. I am seeing my zone will change to MKT and I am afraid this will not allow me to submit a license when my zone changes. Does anyone know if MKT will be included in the new ordinance? If not then I would like my zone to be SD2 which is allowed. I am one street out of the SD2 new district.
I live in the 48207-11 Grassroots Detroiters Community. We have received complaints from many of the residents about not being properly notified. You have not said anything about how our community will benefit. Our community is not one that uses zoom or has acees to it, so this is an unfair process.

Frances Arndt and Jos Campau is not included in the rezoning area as that seems to be south of Gratiot. There is nothing proposed to be rezoned in that area. Feel free to email my colleagues or I to confirm with the specific address, but off hand it is not in the subject footprint.

We haven't received any feedback or had discussion on consumption lounges. As the ordinance has been scheduled for a hearing, the CPC would have to request the change, either on their own or after hearing from the public.
How did someone outside of the "affected zone" receive notice, when people inside the zone did not receive notice? Also this project will affect a larger area than 300 feet. Why not rezone the M3 along St. Aubin above Mack as Residential to compliment the exist homes?
Are these jobs a livable wage? Can you take care of your family with these jobs?
The community wants to know about whatever is going on in our community.
The facilities will be buffered by substantial green space still as I understand it. I trust that is still the case?

I live right in the heart of the MKT zone. I am extraordinarily impressed with the cleanliness and noise standards. The businesses are cooperative with us. While this is not for everyone, it is much better than I had expected.

As a development consultant, I don’t want to take time away from the residents at this meeting. However, I want to make sure the stormwater setbacks were discussed with DWSD. Our firm worked with them (and others) on the new stormwater management ordinance. My concern is that meeting the requirements for onsite management AND the new stormwater setbacks could make development nearly impossible. I defer to the civil engineers but I would like this to be addressed at CPC if possible. I see Valerie Strassberg on this call. She is an expert, I hope she has provided counsel in this regard.
