How tall do you imagine the trees will grow to be? What type of trees?

I’m not hearing anything about Black Bottom. What is being done to, at the very least, acknowledge its erasure? Or better yet leverage the CBO process to make reparations?

Will the development have direct access to the I-75/375 entrance ramp off the service drive or will all freeway traffic have to circle the complex and take Rivard to Lafayette?

What happens to the Horatio Williams building? Will it eventually become part of this development?

That’s a great point about Black Bottom. I think when we get deeper into the design specifics we will include the history of Black Bottom.

In terms of the condo pricing, there are so many variables that factor into that answer. If I told you a price now, that would probably change in a month. Right now it wouldn’t be fair to give you a one answer fits all response.

You say the parking complies with the zoning; How many spaces does zoning require?

Some of the proposed trees include: Maple, Redbud, Dogwoods, Beach, Birch, Honeylocust, Oak, and Linden.

I agree with Gloria on the color scheme. It feels very stark and very dark. There is certainly black in the design of the Mies buildings, but it is a minority versus a majority in the new condo design.

What type of roofs will these buildings have?

Would it be possible to have more greenery rather than carports? There are currently no carports in any of the Lafayette Park housing communities.

Are there any developments in the area with carports? If so I'm not familiar with them.

Per Section 50-14-34 of the zoning code - 0.75 parking spaces are required per residential unit. 244 parking spaces required, 291 have been provided.

Have to go to a zoning meeting that is booked at the same time. Please consider: delete carports and spend more money on trees that improve the streetscape.

I’m okay with deleting the carports, I did want to mention that the the carports were also a recommendation of the condo broker.

Is parking included in the rent or condo prices or will it be a separate charge? It’s a relatively small thing, but can we talk about those address numbers and the so called “pop of color”. How about come classy stainless steel looking silver numbers?

I challenge you to reach out to the diaspora of folks that were displaced when the neighborhood was demolished. Ask them what they want. (I’m just a present day neighbor).

Will there be laundry rooms in all buildings or washer & dryers in each unit of each unit in every building?

This means there will not be one space per apt. This is unrealistic. There will be parking problems.

For the record, it seems to me that Ginosko is providing more than enough parking for an urban setting.

How soon will Planning and Ginosko wrap up on the design?
